No. Jordan Rivers, the founder of Rivers Entertainment is a published writer and has sold and been produced as a screenwriter. We have all the scripts we'll ever need.

You're a low budget studio, does that mean there is no pay?

Yes we're low budget, and intend to keep our budgets around $350,000 for each project. After our YUCCA MAN movie is finished, all of our projects will be full pay.

Where are you located?

Ridgecrest California is half way between Bakersfield and Barstow in the Mojave desert. We're a forty-five minute drive east from Mojave and two, to two and a half hours east of Los Angeles. We're in the far south-east edge of Kern County. Pretty much the middle of nowhere and that's how we like it.

Are you hiring full time positions?

Hopefully soon! Rivers Entertainment will be slowly filling in positions over the next year with people we work with on our projects or hire out-of-town. If you're a go-getter, hard-worker and easy to get along with (not to mention talented) you stand a pretty good chance of getting considered for full time on a salary. That means year-round pay, lots of time off and a kick-ass health plan that includes medical, dental, vision, alternative medicine and no co-pay!

If you hire outside of Ridgecrest, will there be paid travel and accommodations?

That is determined on a case by case basis. Obviously name stars will be catered to and slaved over appropriately, but other cast and crew might have to bunk with Jordan. But don't tell her it was our idea!
